After working the whole day in our office, the only thing i want to do when i’m at home is to watch television. It is my way to relieve stress and boredom. I want to be entertained and forget about the stressful day i had. That’s why when our television went black out the other night i was so sad.  Sad that i wasn’t able to watch my favorite tv show and sad that i will have to buy a new tv set. Gladly, after trying and pressing the remote control many times the television suddenly went back to normal. Our TV is still analog so i’m planning to buy box converter so we can watch high quality digital TV broadcasts.

Watching TV also have health benefits. For instance, watching nature shows. Based on one new study from the University of Rochester in New York, people who watched nature scenes felt more energetic and charitable. Previous studies have found that just looking at still images of nature can lower blood pressure and muscle tension, two markers of unhealthy stress.
